Being someone who has very very very fine , oily and not so shiny hair, I am always in the hunt for a good hair product. I have always been a big fan of L’oreal Elvive hair products since I know they are pretty close to L’oreal professional or even Kerastase but I won’t break the bank with $$$ shampoo! I have been sent the latest range by L’oreal “Extraordinary Oil” Shampoo and Conditioner to try it out, I was skeptical at the beginning since it has 6 different precious types of oils, I thought it would make my hair more oily and weigh it down but friends I have been highly mistaken as since I tried it for the first time my hair felt deeply conditioned and nourished even by using the Shampoo only!
Although when I use any Shampoo whether it is a drug store or high-end, I feel that my hair is tangled, rough and lakes moisture, but I swear that when I washed my hair with the Shampoo only, my hair was super soft that I skipped the conditioner to see the results. After my hair dried, my hair felt really good, soft, nourished, shiny and most importantly, I actually had some volume! The next time I tried it, I used the conditioner and it is thick, rich without being oily at all, it had a really nice smell too. I used styling cream afterwards and let my hair air dry and I was left with soft nice texture (not too curly and not straight)! Third time, I have curled my hair myself with a curling wand and it was super easy and super quick! Actually the curls stayed for the next day, which never happened to me as I usually lose all the texture the next day!
Overall, I am really surprised with the quality of this product and I believe that this is the best range that L’Oreal has come up with so far! As from the price point of view, it is very convenient and can be bought at any drug store. They also have one for dry to rough hair and one normal to dry hair so whatever your hair type is, you can use and am sure you are gonna love it!!!
Bonus: L’Oreal currently having a giveaway to win a full year supply of their products so don’t forget to check it out!
