Rosaliac AR Intense from La Roche Posay [Review]

My biggest issue that I have on my skin is the redness on my cheeks and around my nose, it is really bad, I get red so easily, and I have a lot of broken capillaries. I have honestly tried everything possible (except for laser) and nothing worked. That’s mainly why I like to put some BB cream on everyday to cover the redness, otherwise, I won’t put makeup on everyday! I have done lots and lots of researches until I came across the Rosaliac AR Intense from La Roche Posay.

Rosalic AR

This product has a gel consistency, spreads very easily, doesn’t leave any oil behind or anything. I just apply it on my concern areas, as I mentioned my cheeks and around my nose. I use it every night after my serum and before my moisturizer, it doesn’t moisturize your skin, so don’t replace your moisturizer with this one (It is an extra step for your routine)! It has a weird smell, not bad but I just smell it when I first applied it, although there is no perfume. It has no preservatives, alcohol or paraben.

I have been using it for 8 weeks and I can assure you my skin looks it’s best now, no redness, and less broken capillaries. It took me at least 3 weeks to see the difference, so make sure to be consistent if you are planning to buy. It comes in a 40 ml pump, it is small but you won’t apply on your whole face so it will last you at least 3-4 months, I love the pump as well as it is more hygienic!

I honesttly recommend this one if you have face the same issues, it is really the best product out there! I ordered it from for AED 140.

Have you tried any product from La Roche Posay?

  1. Do you have rosacea?

    1. Hi Audrey, I used to have a really bad rosacea. I think it’s much better now. I have used this product and some other skincare products that really helped! I also did a laser session (just around my nose) as it is my main concern area. Hope this helps xx

      1. Hi Menna, thank you for your reply 🙂 How is the consistency of this rosaliac AR intense serum? My rosacea is not severe, mostly just redness, occasional burning/stinging, and few “rosacea pimples” on the cheeks, very minor compared to others. But combined with my atopic dermatitis, I feel like I have to prevent the rosacea from getting worse because atopic dermatitis is already an expensive and high maintenance condition to handle and I’m still a student so I can’t yet afford IPL. I’m so glad to hear lasers worked wonders for your rosacea. Do you mind sharing you skincare routine when your rosacea was bad? I just had a flare-up 2 weeks ago (I think this time the trigger is the hard water from my sink, I use it to wash my face) and my skin is still healing. But I never want to experience that again so if you want to share your rosacea story & skincare it will be very much appreciated.

        1. Hi love, sorry it took me long time to reply 🙂 The rosaliac has is gel consistency and a little bit slippery (not oily) but absorbs very quickly. I honestly don’t know if my dermatology did IPL or other type of laser 😀 I did just one session and he actually dd=didn’t charge me as well (I’ve known him for a long time and he just did it complimentary) so am not exactly sure how expensive it is but it is worth to ask about the price.

For other skincare =, I highly recommend Cerave and Eucerin (check tthis post;0by=beautywithmenna) and also other posts on my insta. They are highly effective and easy on sensitive skin and also easy on your pockets. I’d stay away from any soap(y) products or any harsh products.

Also, I noticed that food also affects how my face looks like. If I eat too much sugar or carbs, I will wake up with congested red skin.

Hopefully, these products work out for you and please keep me updated honey.

          Love you xx
